Uses

Aleve PM (diphenhydramine hydrochloride and naproxen sodium) is used to treat pain and sleeplessness.

Before using this medication, carefully read all of the instructions on the package. If you have any concerns, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor or the package label, usually 2 tablets at bedtime with a full glass (8 oz/240 mL) of water. Do not increase your dose or take this medication more frequently or for a longer period of time than prescribed. To avoid irritation in your throat, do not lie down for at least 10 minutes after taking this medication (esophagus).

Side effects

Drowsiness, dizziness, stomach upset, nausea, or blurred vision may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist promptly.

If your doctor has directed you to use this medication, remember that your doctor has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication do not have serious side effects.
